Migratory shorebirds have eternal summers by flying between the
hemispheres. They leave the Arctic winter behind and fly south. Many
birds fly along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway to spend summer in Australia
feeding on small creatures on mudflats. They fly thousands of
kilometres. Some people believe that some of the birds might even fly the
whole way without stopping!
Spend some time with us identifying the birds (without their spectacular
breeding feathers), looking at your postcards, reading your
stories and finding
your site on the map.
